Weymouth Lifeboat launched to help windsurfer in difficulty

Weymouth Lifeboat was launched yesterday (4 October) to go to the aid of a windsurfer.
They were struggling in gale-force winds in Portland Harbour.
Weymouth Lifeboat spokesman Ken Francis said:
"The lifeboat was guided to the exact location of the windsurfer by Wyke Regis Coastguard CRT who had been observing the incident from the shore.
"The boarder and his rig were recovered and taken to Castletown."
