Weymouth footie star Dickie Borthwick is to appear on ITV’s Judge Rinder once more.

Dickie, 85, appears in a re-run compilation this Friday at 2pm, alongside his former football manager.

Dickie attempts to sue former manager Don Whistance for the ‘loss of enjoyment’ incurred after the club folded after 40 years.

The case was dismissed by the judge.

Dickie said of his team:

“We had some good games, there were about 15 teams. It was just a friendly game of football between teams in the Dorset area.”

Dickie says there was never any bad blood between the two of them:

“It was a tongue in cheek affair. We started off being serious but it became a bit hilarious in the end, we both enjoyed it in the end.

“We never really fell out to be quite honest. He played quite a few seasons for the football club, and during that time he did a lot of hard work so I didn’t want to be too hard on him.”

The show will be aired again at 2pm on Friday 19th February on ITV.
