When is Weymouth's Burger King ACTUALLY opening?

You may have noticed that Weymouth’s Burger King hasn’t opened on the date it was supposed to.
Works are still ongoing at Chickerell’s Link Park fast food restaurant.
The grand opening of it was due to be on the first May Bank Holiday Monday, May 3rd, but developers have delayed this for nearly another month.
The actual date it IS opening on is Wednesday 26th of May.
A Spokesperson from Burger King said this could be a couple of days earlier the restaurant is ready.
News of the site first opening came in December, which sparked excitement among locals.
It will be the first Burger King to open in the area and is expected to bring 20 jobs to the town.
In a Statement to Greatest Hits Radio a Burger King Spokesperson said:
“Burger King are regularly evaluating opportunities to bring out great-tasting products to more customers in new locations.
“We can confirm that there will be a new restaurant opening in this location very soon and will keep you informed when more information comes available.”
