Weymouth building hit by lorry

A TK Maxx lorry has reversed into a building in Weymouth.

The lorry has now been recovered from the corner of St Thomas Street.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:

"We were called at 11.19am with a report of a road traffic collision in St Thomas Street in Weymouth involving a lorry that had collided with a building.

"Officers attended and road closures were put in place. There were no reports of any injuries.

"The local authority was notified in relation to damage to the building and officers left the scene at around 12.50pm."
