Appeal to find Weymouth man's next of kin

The Coroner for Dorset's looking for the next of kin of a man who died in Weymouth.

The Coroner for Dorset is seeking the assistance of public to find the next of kin of a man who lived in Weymouth.

Joseph Burkhill, who was 71 years old, died at his home address in Stavordale Road on Tuesday 1 September 2020.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and no police investigation is needed into his death.

Coroner’s Officer Tracey Jeans said:

“We are not treating the death as suspicious, however we have not been able to locate his next of kin.

“If any member of the public has any knowledge of his family members, please contact us as soon as possible on 01202 454767.”
