The nights might be drawing in, but the West Dorset Campaign for Real Ale says there's still plenty of time to visit their 'Pub Garden of the Year'
Well the night's might be starting to draw in, but the West Dorset Campaign for Real Ale says there's still plenty of time to enjoy a pub garden.
They've now named their pub garden on the year.
The award has gone to the Pymore Inn, near Bridport.
The pub was sold and closed and then totally refurbished with detail given to the garden which can cater for drinkers in all weather elements.
The pub is owned by the Electric Pub Company and on hearing of the award company owner Steve Killingbeck said:
“The Electric Pub Company has worked hard over the past couple of years by investing heavily in the Pymore Inn and transforming the garden into a wonderful space welcoming drinkers, food goers and families alike. It has taken hard work and dedication but we have achieved what we set out to do - to make it the best pub garden in Bridport and surrounding areas.”
“We are surprised and delighted to receive this award from CAMRA in recognition of our fabulous garden that complements our ever-changing range of local and regional cask ales.”
West Dorset CAMRA spokesperson Rich Gabe said:
”The Pymore Inn garden is a wonderful example of dedication and investment for the future and has certainly boosted the credibility of this fantastic pub.”
A planned presentation to the pub will be taking place by West Dorset CAMRA in the near future.
