Police are searching for a wanted man with links to the Winton area of Bournemouth.

32 year old Tony Ware, of no fixed abode, is being recalled to prison.

Police say he hasn't compiled with the terms of his licence after being released from jail.

He's also wanted in connection with a number of shoplifting incidents around Bournemouth.

Ware is described as:

  • White
  • Six feet one inch tall
  • Medium build
  • Receding brown hair

Detective Sergeant Richard Barnett, of Dorset Police, said:

“We have been carrying out a number of enquiries to locate Tony Ware, but these have so far proved unsuccessful and I would urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please contact us.

“While there is no information to suggest Ware presents a risk to the general public, we would urge anyone who sees him not to approach him but to instead dial 999 immediately.”

If you can help with any information about his whereabouts, you're asked to call 101, quoting reference number 55240112396, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
