UPDATE: Witness appeal launched after Old Sherborne Road crash

Dorset Police are after dashcam footage

There's an appeal for dashcam and witnesses to come forward following a two vehicle crash near Sherborne.

A black Range Rover and a white Toyota Aygo collided on the A352 south of Middlemarsh at around 10.55am on Sunday morning (22nd May).

The Range Rover left the carriageway.

Five people were injured in the crash - the Range Rover driver has cuts and bruises, while his female passenger was taken to hospital with injuries.

Three people in the Toyota suffered minor injuries.

PC Clare Gillard, of the traffic unit, said there's now a push to find out more about what happened:

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision itself, or events leading up to it, to please come forward.

“I am also keen to hear from any motorists who were travelling in the area and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
