'Unprovoked' assault on group of teenagers in Beaminster

They were targeted by three men at Hogshill Street

A group of teenagers have been assaulted in Beaminster, in what's being described as an 'unprovoked' attack.

The victims were at the Memorial Playing Fields car park in Hogshill Street at around 9.30pm on Friday 25th November, when a black SUV pulled up.

Three men, armed with bottles, got out and attacked the group.

They're described as:

  • White
  • Well built
  • One in his 30s, short, bald and wearing a T-shirt and jeans
  • A second was tall with short cropped black hair and wearing glasses

The SUV was being driven by a white woman in her 30s or 40s with curly blonde hair.

A car parked nearby had its windscreen smashed by a bottle during the incident.

PC Dan White, of West Dorset police, said:

“This was an unprovoked attack and our investigation is ongoing to identify those responsible.

“I have now gained accounts from the victims and am in a position to appeal for any witnesses or anyone with information about what happened to please come forward.”
