The Ukrainian Ambassador is 'extremely grateful' for support headed for the country's border today.

West Dorset MP Chris Loder showed Vadym Prystaiko pictures of efforts during a meeting over the Ukraine conflict this week.

Ten lorries have been filled up with everyday essentials at Castlepoint by more than 120 volunteers, and there are already 10 more lorries-worth waiting to be packed.

Prince of Wales School in Dorchester is among the groups collecting donation. They've already filled up one lorry of supplies as part of their contributions.

Chris Loder said:

“The Ukrainian Ambassador was extremely grateful to everyone in West Dorset who has helped and especially grateful to the Prince of Wales School when I showed him the photos of their colossal effort”.
