One person in hospital following A35 crash

Two vehicles have been involved in a crash on the A35 Puddletown Bypass.

One person has been taken to hospital, although the extent of their injuries is unknown.

Emergency services including police, ambulance teams and fire fighters were called around 8:52am today.

Road closures were put in place near the Troy Town junction on the westbound carriageway.

The eastbound carriage way is now open, but there are rolling road blocks in place on the westbound road.

It's not known if anybody has been injured.
