Two teenagers arrested following Bournemouth stabbing

Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Bournemouth.

A man in his 20s was taken to hospital after being attacked in the Lower Gardens last Monday evening (Bank Holiday 26th August).

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A 17-year-old boy from East Dorset and a 16-year-old boy from Bournemouth have been questioned on suspicion of wounding with intent.

One's been released under investigation and the other bailed.

Detective Inspector Chris Bradford, of BCP CID, said:

“We have been continuing to carry out a detailed investigation and have now made two arrests.

“I would like to ask anyone with information in relation to this incident that has not already spoken to officers to please contact Dorset Police.”
