Two teenage boys 'inappropriately touched' by man in Weymouth
Police are investigating two incidents in the town
A man's alleged to have inappropriately touched two teenage boys, in two separate incidents in Weymouth.
Dorset Police say a 15 year old boy was stopped by a man while rising his bike through the alleyway between Lyndale Road and Walker Crescent between 11.00am and 12.00pm on Thursday 11th August.
The man hugged the boy and touched him inappropriately.
The boy pushed the man away and he walked off.
At around 11.00am on the same morning, another 15 year old was getting into a car on Dundee Road when a man approached and touched him inappropriately over his clothes.
The man stepped back and the victim was able to close the car door.
In both cases, the man is described as:
- Having grey hair
- Wearing glasses
- Red polo shirt
- Shorts
PC Abi Snelling, of Weymouth police, said:
“We have been carrying out enquiries into these reports and have obtained full accounts from both victims.
“Our investigation indicates that these incidents are believed to have involved the same man and we are now appealing to the public for anyone with information to please come forward.
“I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed either incident or who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam, home CCTV or doorbell camera footage.”
