Two people have been treated after an incident involving swimming pool chemicals in West Dorset.

Fire crews from Bridport, Charmouth and Crewkerne together with a Hazmat officer were sent to Stoke Abbot yesterday. (23 June)

Two people were given first aid by the ambulance service after inhaling gases while mixing chemicals together.

A spokesperson for Bridport Fire Station said:

"Luckily no one was seriously harmed.

"It's an important reminder to always read the label and follow the instruction when dealing with chemicals."
