Two people taken to hospital after serious crash near Tarrant Hinton

Two ambulances and the air ambulance were sent to the scene yesterday afternoon

Two people are being treated in hospital after a serious accident near Tarrant Hinton.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash on the A354 yesterday afternoon. (5 December)

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service sent two crews from Blandford and a crew from Poole to the scene.

A spokesperson for DWFRS said:

"The road was closed and firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to release casualties and made the vehicles safe.

"The air ambulance and two land ambulances attended and two casualties were handed over to their care. Fire crews left the scene just after 5pm."

Dorset Police re-opened the road at around 8pm.
