Two men released on bail after knife incident at Weymouth nightclub

Two men arrested in connection with a reported knife incident in Weymouth at Actors night club have been released without charge.

At around 2.40am on Monday 1st November 2021 Dorset Police received a report that three men were in possession of a knife at Actors nightclub in Maiden Street.

It was further reported that a knife had been seized by security staff at the premises following a disturbance outside.

Following enquiries, two local men – aged 20 and 31 – were arrested on suspicion of affray and possessing a bladed article and subsequently released on police bail.

Following further enquiries by officers, they have now both been released from bail without charge.
