Two charged in connection with Weymouth disturbance

It's alleged a person was threatened by two men carrying knives in Park Street

Two Weymouth men have been charged following a disturbance in the town centre.

It's alleged a group of people were 'behaving aggressively' towards members of the public in the Park Street area in the early hours of December 3rd last year.

A person also reported being threatened by two men carrying knives.

A 20 year old and a 21 year old have been charged with affray, possession of an offensive weapon and threatening with a bladed article.

The 20 year old man has also been charged with assault.

The pair are due before Weymouth Magistrates Court on October 23rd.
