Two cars collide in Corfe Mullen, after public order incident

Dorset Police is investigating what happened

Two cars have collided in Corfe Mullen, after the drivers involved had been involved had been in a 'verbal altercation'.

Dorset Police tell us the crash happened on Wareham Road, near to the Hillside Road turning, at around 2.15pm on Saturday (20th August).

It involved a black Audi A3 and a blue Ford Focus.

Before that, it's believed the cars had been travelling on the A350 towards Corfe Mullen, with the drivers both getting out of their cars near the Limberlost junction.

They were allegedly involved in what police are calling a 'public order incident' there.

No injuries have been reported.

PC William Saunders, of Dorset Police, said:

“We are carrying out a number of enquiries into these incidents and I am keen to speak to any witnesses who may be able to assist our investigation.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage.”
