Two arrests made after fight involving knife in Bournemouth

Two men have been arrested after a fight involving a knife in a car park in Bournemouth.

Police were called to Central Car Park in Upper Hinton Road at around 7.40am on Saturday 24th June.

A 62 year old Bournemouth man and a 29 year old local man were detained on suspicion of affray.

The older man was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article.

They've both been released on bail, while enquiries continue.

PC Ellie Saunders, of Bournemouth police, said:

“Our investigation into this incident remains ongoing and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who may have captured any relevant dashcam or mobile phone footage.”
