Three people have been taken to hospital following an accident near Long Bredy.

The A35 has now reopened after Police closed part of the road earlier today.

Dorset Police have told us three vehicles are involved, there were initial reports that one person was trapped.

Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service and South Western Ambulance Service were called to the scene just before 10.30am this morning.

A Spokesperson from the Ambulance Service told Greatest Hits Radio Dorset:

"We sent various land and air ambulance resources to attend the incident.

"We treated three patients at the scene and conveyed them to hospital by land for further care."
