The collision happened close to the Stinsford roundabout just before 12.15pm this lunchtime (Wednesday 12th January),

A white Mercedes van, a red Toyota Aygo and a black Peugeot 208 were involved.

Two people suffered serious injuries in the crash.

The male drive of the Toyota and the female driver of the Peugeot, who's in her 60s, were both taken to hospital for treatment.

The Mercedes driver wasn't hurt.

There's now an appeal for dashcam footage from anyone who might have been in the area.

PC Simon Hatch, of the Dorset Police traffic unit, said:

“I am appealing to anyone who was travelling in the area and witnessed the collision, or moments leading up to it, to please come forward.

“I am particularly keen to hear from any motorists who may have captured anything of relevance on a dashcam.

“Finally, I would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding while the closures were in place. These were absolutely necessary to allow us to carry out a thorough examination of the scene.”

If you can help with any information, you're asked to contact Dorset Police by calling 101, quoting incident number 12:223.
