Three teenagers taken to hospital after crash in Wareham

Police are appealing for witnesses

Three teenagers have been taken to hospital after a crash in Wareham in the early hours of this morning (November 11).

Emergency services were called after a report at 12.30am today (November 11) of a single vehicle collision involving a Honda Jazz on Tout Hill.

A passenger of the Honda Jazz, an 18-year-old woman, from Ferndown, was taken to hospital with injuries believed to be serious but not life-threatening.

A 17-year-old woman from Bournemouth and an 18-year-old boy from Poole were also taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be serious.

Police Constable Gavin Newbury, from Dorset Police's Serious Collision Investigation Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries as we seek to establish the full circumstances of this collision, and I would urge any witnesses to please contact us.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who was driving in the vicinity and may have captured relevant dashcam footage, as well as anyone who saw the manner of driving of the vehicle involved in the moments leading up to the collision.”
