Liquid fertiliser worth more than £8,000 has been stolen from a tank at a farm in Dorset, with police now looking into what happened.

We're told that access was gained to a remote location between Piddletrenthide and Plush at some point between 31st of March and Tuesday this week (10th May).

The lock on a large storage tank was broken, and 12,000 litres of liquid fertiliser missing.

PC Paul Miners, of Dorset Police’s Rural Crime Team, said:

“Such thefts have a big impact on our rural community and I am trying to progress my enquiries to identify those responsible.

“I urge anyone with information about the incident that might help my investigation to contact us.”
