The Range is set to open the doors of its new Weymouth store to customers on Friday 30th April at 9am.

The shop is replacing Debenhams in the town centre on New Bond Street, there's more information on that here.

Costa Coffee will be staying in the building.

The discount store is bringing new jobs to the town, signs in the window are advertising job vacancies.

In a previous statement to Greatest Hits Radio Dorset a Spokesperson from The Range said:

"The new store will create 80 new jobs, across a selection of full and part-time roles from Store to Department Managers and Warehouse Supervisors to Retail Assistants."

In the new year Debenhams closed its doors to the public.

The clothing store, put a sign up on the door thanking shoppers for their support but saying they will not be opening again.
