A much-loved iconic Dorset beauty spot remains closed for the time being.
The Blue Pool's been shut after the death of 91-year-old Jennifer Barnard.
Miss Barnard was the sole proprietor
The Pool Estate is now in the hands of the executors and the probate proceedings.
Carolyn Snook worked with Miss Barnard for almost 30 years.
Carolyn told Greatest Hits Radio we will have to see what the future holds for the Blue Pool in the coming months.
"Miss Barnard was a Purbeck treasure who worked extremely hard 7 days a week throughout the height of every Season from Easter until October.
"She was admired by so many over the 65 years she was running the Blue Pool Estate which her father bought in 1935 and has welcomed so many visitors time and time again over the years.
"Sadly due to the current Covid -19 situation we were unable to celebrate the 85th anniversary year on the 6th June which would have been an amazing event for Purbeck and Tourism in Dorset.
"I hope she understood the impact she had on all the young employees who had worked for her over many years, she certainly had a strong influence on me, I was lucky to have not just that I worked for her for 28 years but I was able to call her one of my "besties", we shared many happy and sad times together I shall miss her so desperately."
