Teenage boy assaulted in Weymouth
An altercation took place in an alleyway off Louviers Road
Detectives investigating an assault of a teenage boy in Weymouth are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Sometime between 4pm and 5pm on Thursday (10 June) an altercation occurred in an alleyway off Louviers Road, opposite Goulds Garden Centre.
The victim, a 17-year-old local boy, and another man were approached by a group of around five men. During the altercation it is reported that one of the men assaulted the teenage boy, causing him minor injuries to his head and arm.
Description
The offender is described as around six feet three inches tall, of stocky build and was wearing a black hooded Nike tracksuit with the hood up, black Nike trainers and a black face mask. The other men were described as of skinny build and wore similar clothing.
Detective Sergeant Lee Turner, of Weymouth CID, said:
"I am appealing to anyone who was in the area of Louviers Road at the relevant time and may have either witnessed the incident, or saw a group of men in the area at the relevant time, to please contact Dorset Police."
