Teenage boy arrested following Poole assault

A 16 year old has been questioned on suspicion of wounding with intent

Police in Poole, who've been investigating an assault which left a man with a serious head injury, have arrested a teenage boy.

Dorset Police responded to reports of an 'altercation' in Old Orchard at around 2.15am on Saturday 25th March.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.

A 16 year old boy has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, in connection with the incident.

He's been released under investigation while further enquiries are carried out.

There's a continued appeal from officers for any information into what happened though.
