Police are looking for two men over the incident on Tuesday (26 August)

A teenager's had to have hospital treatment for a head injury after an attack at Weymouth.

Dorset Police say he got into an argument with a man who approached him at Westham Road on Tuesday evening around 7.20pm.

A second man then approached the youngster, hit him on the head and put his hands round his throat.

Police Constable Carl Wood, of Dorset Police, said, "We are investigating this incident, and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not yet spoken to us.

"I would also ask any residents of Westham Road to please check their home CCTV or doorbell cameras to see if they have captured anything of relevance.

"Lastly, I would ask any motorists with dashcam who were driving in Westham Road at the time to please review their footage and contact us if they have captured any footage of relevance to our investigation."
