Audiences around the world will be able to stream The Tank Museum’s Tiger Day event for the first time ever today. 23 April

The event will raise vital funds for War Child UK, to help the charity continue the work they do with the children affected by the conflict in Ukraine.

Spokesman Nik Wyness said: “We, with our partners World of Tanks, are also pleased to be able to use this opportunity to raise awareness of the War Child UK Ukraine emergency fund – which is something we feel the audience will be eager to support.”

The four-hour long event will treat viewers to brand new Tiger content including unique views of the Tiger Day vehicle display and exciting guest interviews

Throughout the live stream, viewers have the opportunity to donate to War Child UK via The Tank Museum website. Money received by purchasing exclusive ‘World of War Tanks’ in-game emblems will also go to the charity and support the vital work they do.

David Miller, Head of Gaming Partnerships at War Child UK said; “At War Child UK we are committed to putting children first. This means we aim to be there as quickly as possible when conflict breaks out, as well as continuing to provide critical support to children living in war zones around the world.”

“To do that, we rely heavily on our fundraising efforts and the generosity of our supporters to reach the children who need us most – and thanks to the team at Wargaming and The Tank Museum, we will be able to reach thousands of children who desperately need our support now and in the future.”
