Police in Bridport are investigating a suspicious incident targeting an elderly woman with dementia.

Two males are reported to have entered an address in the West Allington area on Tuesday (23rd July).

The pair left the scene when the woman's carers arrived, but the victim was left in a 'very confused state of mind'.

We're asked to look out for any suspicious activity, and support vulnerable neighbours that could be affected.

In a social media post, Bridport Police said:

"If you have that gut feeling that something isn't right, call police on 999 system, so we can get help on its way quickly.

"We would rather attend and it be a false alarm rather than someone becoming a victim of crime."
