A total of 30 homes are being proposed for a former builder’s yard and office site, off Bath Road in Sturminster Newton.

Dorset Council planners are being asked to decide on two separate applications for the R B Snook Building Ltd site.

Developers say the 0.5 hectare plot is suitable for a block with nine flats, two terraces of 3 and 4-bed homes and ten semi-detached homes.

Consent had been given to develop the site in 2016, but it was not implemented.
