A furniture shop in Shaftesbury has been targeted by burglars, with a number of items stolen from inside.

The front door of a store in Salisbury Street was forced open at around 4.45am last Tuesday (8th March).

Officers did go along to the scene and searched the area, but didn't find any offenders.

Items taken include lamps, a rug and a blanket.

We're now being asked to keep a look-out for these items being sold online - and report it to Dorset Police.

Do you recogise any of these items as being put up on local selling sites?

PC James Owen, of North Dorset police, said:

“I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and would urge anyone with information about who was responsible to please get in touch.

“I am issuing images of some of the stolen items in the hope someone may recognise them.

“If you have seen any of the items pictured for sale locally in unusual circumstances, please contact Dorset Police.”

We're asked to let police know if we've seen these items for sale anywhere

If you can help, you're asked to contact officers on 101, or by emailing 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk, quoting reference number 55220037427.

You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
