Shaftesbury church burgled

A bank card was among items taken, and used in local shops

There's been a burglary at a church in Shaftesbury.

The office of Father's House Church in Christy's Lane was targeted at around 1.30am on Sunday August 13th.

Three black and grey HP laptops, an LG TV, an Apple TV box, a blue cash tin and a bank card were stolen.

The card was later used fraudulently in local shops.

PC Edward Lewis, of Blandford police, said:

“I am continuing to investigate this incident and I am appealing to anyone who has any information about the burglary to please get in touch.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has come across items matching the description given above being offered for sale in suspicious circumstances.”
