Safety warning after cliff fall near West Bay

An alternative walking route has been provided.

Dorset Council are warning us to steer clear of Highlands Park cliff near West Bay after a large section of the cliff side fell last night.

A spokesperson from the local authority said:

"The landowner has erected a simple chain-link fence back from the fall area/cliff edge to warn people away.

"We strongly recommend staying away from the damaged section at this time."

Highlands End Holiday Park have provided walkers with an alternative path.

We are being advised to read the on-site information, to not climb over the barriers and to the follow the path provided.
