Drivers involved in Bournemouth road rage incident

This happened on Castle Lane West on a Saturday lunchtime

Police in Bournemouth are asking witnesses to come forward following a road rage incident.

At around 1.00pm on Saturday 25th March, a Volkswagen Polo overtook a Volkswagen Beetle on Castle Lane West.

When the vehicles stopped at traffic lights, the female driver of the Beetle got out and approached the Polo driver.

An altercation between led to both drivers suffering minor injuries and both their cars being damaged.

PC Alicia Roe, of Dorset Police, said:

“I am continuing to investigate this incident and would ask anyone who witnessed what happened to please come forward.

“I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured the incident on either dashcam or has mobile phone footage.”
