Extensive repairs are being proposed for a Grade 2 Listed north Dorset village hall.

Dorset Council is being asked to approve the planned changes to The Old Brewery Hall in Ansty.

They include work to the exterior brick and stone, repairs to the porch and the replacement of glass and a door.

No inside works are planned as part of the listed building application.

The applicants have said in their Statement to the Council:

"All materials used will be sympathetic with the age of the building and it’s Grade II listing and the proposed works will ultimately ensure the structural integrity of the building as well as enhancing its appearance."
