Repair work set to get underway to badly damaged restaurant

Repair work is scheduled to get underway to a restaurant in Weymouth that was badly damaged by a fire.

The Dorset Burger Company in King Street last month was badly damaged during the blaze.

The owners have now released an aerial picture showing extensive damage to the roof.

Emma Cogan the co-owner of the company stated on Facebook.

"Damage at the top of the building is extensive and repairs will take many months. We’re hoping to open early summer and will continue to keep you updated as things progress."
