A Bridport Church is holding a remembrance service for two teenagers who died in January.

Jack Micheal Williams and Katherine Susan Jane Powell died at Bothenhampton Reservoir.

The service is being held at Holy Trinity Church, Bothenhampton on Sunday 6th February at 4pm.

The church says it's 'In response to the huge shock and sadness in our community after their deaths.

Helen Croud is the Church Curate. The service was her idea. She said:

"People have been really shocked and saddened by the events and I think it's highlighted for everybody the importance of having people around you and being able to be there for all members of our community.

"There's going to be a few pieces of music, some prayers, a time for people just to speak aobut how they're feeling and to remember the two lives that have been so tragically lost."

Bereavement groups and other charities that work to help people dealing with grief will also be on hand at the service.
