Rape investigation launched in Boscombe

A serious sexual assault's being investigating in Boscombe - with a cordon in place at the Sovereign Centre car park on Christchurch Road.
A woman in her 20s reported an incident at around 5.50am this morning (Thursday 31st August).
The victim's being supported by trained police officers.
A 37 year old man from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
An investigation's now underway to establish the full circumstances, with examinations being carried out at the scene.
It's understood the victim and the arrested man are known to each other.
Dorset Police say there's no wider risk to the public and officers can be approached to pass on information, and answer concerns.
