Railings installed at Weymouth Harbour
Workmen have been seen putting up a controversial scheme.

A scheme to erect railings alongside the east side of Weymouth Harbour has begun.
Workmen have been seen putting the railings up, after a three-day stall last week.
Councillors temporarily paused the scheme for 72-hours to consider the views and blowback of the plans.
The council says the railings are there for health and safety reasons, to stop anyone falling in the harbour.
Councillor Ray Bryan said:
"We will be providing extra seating which was always the plan.
"This is a temporary measure whilst we have the sitting ut areas which are taking up the pavement, so pedestrians have to go somewhere.
"The alternative to this is for me to close the road, enough people tell me they don't want the road to close, they don't want pedestrianisation.
"This is an interim measure just to keep people safe."
