Officers appeal for public information to assist their searches for a missing man

Officers are appealing for information from the public to assist their searches for a missing man from Poole.

Phillip Murray, aged 64, was reported missing having last been seen in the Tesco superstore in Poole Road at around 11.20am on Sunday 18 August 2024.

Phillip is described as five feet seven inches tall, of stocky build with short, grey hair and walks with a limp.

He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with New York City on the front, dark trousers and dark shoes.

Police Constable Ben McSorley, of the Dorset Police Missing Person Support Team, said: “Phillip has been missing for five days now and we are very keen to locate him to ensure he is safe and well.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding Phillip’s whereabouts, or who has seen a man matching the description given, to please contact us.

“If Phillip sees this appeal, I would urge him to call us. We are all worried about you and just want to ensure you are OK.”
