Police search address in Weymouth in operation targeting drugs supply

The action followed an arrest made by officers in Knightsdale Road last night

Police targeting the supply of drugs have searched an address in the Weymouth area.

It's after three young males were stopped and searched in Knightsdale Road last night.

One person was arrested.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:

"He was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and an address has since been searched in the Weymouth area. Enquires continue.

"One of our priorities is to target the supply of drugs, particularly amongst younger persons."
