Police investigate burglary at house in Weymouth

Police are investigating a burglary at a property in Weymouth.

The break-in at an address in Stanley Street happened overnight on Friday 13 May, between 8pm and 1am on Saturday morning.

Items of jewellery were stolen from the property, as well as an Amazon Kindle and a Phillips beard trimmer.

Police Constable Michael Golder, of Weymouth police, said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries to identify who was responsible and have been speaking to nearby residents to see if they witnessed what happened.

“I am appealing for anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time to please get in touch.

“I am keen to hear from any motorists who may have been travelling in the vicinity and captured anything of relevance on dashcam to please come forward.”
