'Professional beggars' ordered to leave Weymouth
Two beggars have told to leave Weymouth Town Centre today.
Police issued Section 35 dispersal orders to two men witnessed begging in Weymouth Town Centre by officers.
It follows numerous reports of a group of professional beggars causing a nuisance to shoppers in the town.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:
"These males have been directed to leave the town via the train station. If they return today then they will be arrested. The signs they were using have also been surrendered."
