Prince of Wales School to hold Breakfast Street Party after England's Euro 2020 final

And they're giving their students a lie in on Monday

250 England cakes are going to be dished up to children at school in Dorchester this lunchtime.

The Prince of Wales School are putting their support behind the England Football team who face Italy in the finals of Euro 2020 at Webley on Sunday.

The cakes from the Dorset Cake Company will be served up for lunch, followed by an afternoon of singing, dancing and flag waving.

Music is being provided by the Year 4 Samba band.

The school will also be holding a breakfast street party for pupils on Monday, whether England win or lose.

They'll be a free breakfast baps for families to enjoy while they reflect on the night before.

Headteacher Gary Spracklen has even moved morning registration on Monday to 11am.

It's to allow a bit of extra time in bed for young football fans up late watching the game.

Mr Spracklen said:

"For the first time in 55 years, let's dare to dream. It's coming home!"
