Pregnant python gets stuck under kitchen door

We have all heard of firefighters being called out to rescue cats stuck up trees.
But firefighters in Springbourne were called to a very unusual rescue yesterday. (3 September)
They helped free a pregnant python that had got stuck underneath a kitchen door.
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
"The firefighter used a hydraulic door open and a hooligan tool to carefully release the door and free the snake!
"Definitely not a standard call for firefighters to attend but animals and people do sometimes end up in tricky situations that require our help!!"
