A pre-inquest hearing is taking place today (19 May) into the death of Gaia Pope.

The 19-year-old died from hypothermia after disappearing from her home near Swanage in 2017.

She had been missing for 11 days.

Gaia's family have told Greatest Hits Radio Dorset they were devastated in January when a hearing that had already been delayed was stalled yet again.

It was put off because of technical issues preventing the public and the press from listening in.

Today's hearing is being held at the Dorset Coroner's Court at the Town Hall in Bournemouth.

We're not expecting any findings today, but it will be a chance for the Coroner to get ready for the final hearing.
