An extension to Portland United FC's clubhouse is on track to be completed in March.

The club's posted an update on the redevelopment of the Camp and Satherley on social media.

They've explained what a difference the changes will make:

"The capacity of the club will increase dramatically with the addition of an elevator (enabling everyone access to the club), a new fully fitted kitchen, a new bar and overall a much improved facility with additional space created downstairs.

"A whole new experience awaits supporters and visitors to the club, whether it's to watch football or a social function."

The Blues were given planning permission for the expansion in March 2024, saying it was vital to increase events there to help fund the footballing side.

They've also called for more volunteers to join their ranks once the work's completed to 'maintain high standards' at the club.

Anyone interested in helping is encouraged to contact Portland United FC for more information.
