Teenager pushed and person punched in Poole incidents
A man's been arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly
A teenager's been barged and a person punched during incidents in Poole, thought to involve the same suspect.
Dorset Police say the teenage victim was on his scooter in the High Street at around 8.00am on the Thursday before last (12th December).
He was approached by an unknown man near to the Santander bank, before becoming abusive, pushing the boy and walking away towards Poole Quay.
It's also reported that the same man punched a person, in the same area at around 5.30pm the same day.
A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of common assault and being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
He's been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
PC Sarah Fuller, of Dorset Police, said: “We are conducting enquiries into these reports of assault, and I am keen to hear from any witnesses to the incident.
“I would also urge motorists who may have been in the area to please check any dashcam footage from around the relevant time period to see if they have captured anything that might assist our enquiries.
“I would like to make the same plea to residents or businesses in the vicinity with CCTV systems to review their footage for anything of relevance.”
