Police visit Westham residents plagued by anti-social behaviour

They've visited Aster Housing tenants

Weymouth Police have been visiting Aster Housing tenants in Westham being plagued by disputes with their neighbours and youth related anti-social behaviour.

It was in response to reports to police and Aster Housing Group.

An Acceptable Behaviour Contract was also issued.

It relates to an injunction Aster are seeking to help police tackle anti-social behaviour and suspected County Lines drug running.

A spokesperson for Weymouth & Portland Police said:

"The Westham Team have been out with an Aster Housing Anti-Social Behaviour Officer visiting a number of addresses. This is in response to recent reports that have been made to both police and the Aster Housing Group.

"We were able to speak to a number of residents regarding ongoing neighbour disputes, youth related anti-social behaviour and we also attended a vulnerable males address to provide safeguarding advice and support."
